In a world full of confusing rhetoric regarding nutrition, maintaining a healthy lifestyle can be intimidating for families. Food should be fun, functional, and free from stress. We believe that overall health is impacted more by mental health, sleep, environment, exercise, and factors as such than by the nitty-gritty of foods we put in our body.
It is possible to eat foods you enjoy and maintain a healthy lifestyle. It’s our mission to make eating nutritious foods attractive and attainable by educating and inspiring our youth. So why don’t we focus less on calories and focus more on moderation to promote having a healthy relationship with food?
We believe in movement of the body - not as a way to “shed the pounds” or as a punishment for eating certain foods, but as a way to work together as a team, enjoy the outdoors, and make our bodies stronger. “Exercise is a celebration of what your body can do, not a punishment for what you ate.”
